Well, here's one more to ignore. Side by side. (Sorry about the size.)
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

On the side by side? Yeah, probably. I rushed it a bit.
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

Oh, Colin...........you've been bitten by the Martian bug!!!

Now brace yourself!

You said, "Question: There is a line of material at the 'left-top-center' of the Universal Image. This line is sort of at a 45o angle with rubble around it and what appear to be 'wash out' flow surfaces.
Could this line of material be the top left base line of the DM which was blown outward by a meteor impact positioned just leftward of the DM summit (in this frame)?"

(Gulp!!!) Guess whose idea that is? Yeah, Richard Hoagland's. He has also theorized an internal explosion (warfare?).

I got tired of looking at that eroded old Mars hill so I found some stuff on Earth. I can't see any difference between this and RCH's modus operandi.

Here's the same picture with George Washington's face from Mt. Rushmore. It even has a nice octagonal base. I can draw some other little lines and some thetas wherever I want. The east point marks the path to an eroded pyramid, too! This kind of thing has nothing to do with science.

Okay, I'll see what I can do. I went ahead and reworked the side by side and adjusted for perspective a bit....
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

Colin:

re: The Squashed Chicken. 10-15 degrees CW, right?
Edit: Clockwise.
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will to strive, to seek, to find and not to yeild. - Tennyson

for all.....good link...

http://www.bob-wonderland.supanet.com/geometry_4.htm

From Bob's website:

"Either by an accident of nature or by intelligent design the D&M Pyramid has a sophisticated geometry (most closely) based around a square and a 4 by 3 rectangle. The nearby "Face" also appears to have a geometry based on the 4 by 3 rectangle. These geometries in themselves are not proof of artificiality in the D&M Pyramid. However, if the D&M Pyramid is indeed an arcology then the abundant survival of geometry in the ruins is very consistent with this explanation. We may also note that high resolution imagery of the D&M surface sent back by the Mars Global Surveyor reveals many features that are also capable of artificial interpretation"
