Can you align to the pole with PHD guiding by working out drift direction does anyone do that.
I have limited horizon from my view point but can see the polar region and have set my EQ5 mount up altitude and by compass on the mount. I now need to be able to drift align from a single star if possible?
Could this be done with the correct orientation of the camera attached to the guidescope any any help would be greatful.
She's pretty close now but still Dec guide motors are working hard on guiding.
