Anyone know if this telescope is any good?

Looks like a good deal to me - it's basically just like my first 'scope but of a<br />different brand. I'd think about a better finderscope someday down the line. Other then that, the price is right!

I'm not personally familliar with the PowerSeaker 127 EQ, however, Celestron makes decent equipment. The only other first scope I might recommend is a Dobsonian of 6" to 8" aperture. It depends on what you are interested in. This 5" scope will take you to 250x with little trouble. <br /><br />Clear Skies<br />Bill

See, that's why it's good to ask questions. I did not know this about that particular 'scope. So, I'll retract my words as having a 'scope like that for my first one. The info I saw said f/8 127mm. But, I did notice it did look like a "short-tube" - that's good to know.
