SO WHAT? Why did this egregiously negative comment even need to see the light of day? That these were the best qualified and in the right place at the right time is ALL that matters. If more are well qualified and in the right place today that is all that matters today. Commnentators need to have a lot more class and a lot LESS political cowardice today.

In modern times, where diversity is valued, the comments made are very appropriate.

This recognition is a celebration of how far we have come to recognize the differences of others and what they add to the pursuit of science.

All of these personnel have met the highest of standards and we should be proud of what they have, and will, accomplish.
