Aurora Oct 10th

Here is an aurora image taken from Grand Mesa (Colorado) last night (midnight). It was taken by my daughter who said it was visible to the naked eye as well, but not as bright, of course.

Also, I saw a picture taken from central Texas of the aurora, but it is much weaker and it wasn't visible with the naked eye.

Nice rays! Nice curtain! Red is the best aurora, only made by very energetic particles.
I saw a pink hue with the naked eye, low in the northern sky, at 0215-0230 UTC on 10-11-24 from Albany, GA at 31.6° latitude.
