If the astronauts are able to stay on the moon for more than one month would they have 14 days of light and 14 days of dark?

That is close to the right number for locals close to the moon's equator. 13 days of light and 14 of dark is likely closer, unless you count the light reflected from the Earth and near by hill tops. Since there is no atmosphere the sky is black day and night, in between the stars, planets, etc. Neil

Yeah, that's true for most of the surface. One tentative plan is possibly to have the first outpost be near one of the poles however. This would lead to a different pattern, with solar arrays having access to the sun all months long, and hopefully water (in the form of ice) being available from permanently shadowed craters nearby.
