Interresting, i'm still behind the times, haven't seen Razor or Caprica. but just transferred my VHS Tapes of the whole Series and copied them to DVD's, which meant i had to sit thru the Whole Entire Episodes this time and i still have many ??'s Like at the End they send off the Centurians with a Base Ship/Star...kind of stupid huh, and what became of the ships that weren't flown into the Sun i.e. Raptors ,shuttles etc, and the Metal's, Weapons ? They eroded over 200,000 yrs ?

All in all , it wasn't that bad, but as always, could have been better..

Srsly? The SyFy series was so good, this just seems like gilding the lily.

Very interesting. :)

Though I know many people despised it, I have fond memories of the original short-lived 1979 TV show, Battlestar Galactica. Anyone who is curious can watch episodes of the old show on http://www.hulu.com. I recommend the episodes covering the two part story "The Living Legend".

I have seen the Sci-Fi channel remake, and I very much enjoyed the mini-series, and the follow on 1st season of the TV series. But in my opinion don't bother watching after that. For me the series jumped the shark with the return of the Pegasus. Ugh. :(

I hope the feature film hews closer to the spirit of the original series than the cynical depressing remake.

I must admit I really liked the original Battlestar Galactica show. During its last season, when it changed to Galactica 1980, that was a total gag - Adama taking orders from a 9 yr old kid and all the good characters gone. That totally sucked except for the one episode that showed what happened to Starbuck.

The SciFi version of Battlestar was great, I loved it. I agree with doublehelix that yet another rehash of how humans lost the war with the Cylons and had to go on the run seems like a waste of time.

I guess this just proves once more how hard up "Hollywood" is for movie ideas.

I love pointing this odd factoid out. It's funny!

Dirk Benedict, who played Starbuck, purportedly disappeared.

Lo and behold, Benedict ended up as "the Face" on The A-Team. Well, one episode, they were investigating something at a California theme park. At the entrance was...a fully functional Cylon warrior. Benedict and the warrior see each other, and do this sort of wary acknowledgment of each other, as if they'd met before. :)

An acquaintance of mine wanted to make custom DYI table that'd make a good conversation piece for guests, and ended up with a carbonite job. But instead of Han Solo, he put Indy Jones in there :p
