Terminator

Kyle Reese: Listen, and understand. That terminator is out there, it can't be bargained with, it can't be reasoned with, it doesn't feel pity or remorse or fear, and it absolutely will not stop EVER, until you are dead!

Gave me chills in the theatre.

And although technically Forbidden Planet is a "B" movie, I have never considered it as such because the actors were well known and the effects, story and production values were high.
That is a great movie that, IMAO, still stands today as a good scifi.

Oh, and you left out Huey, Dewy and Louie from Silent Running....an excellent movie that also still stands up as great scifi today. Bruce Dern was awesome in this movie.
