I liked the one where he was a mob boss, or the son of one actually, and had his goons travel to SUNY Buffalo to plug in a hair dryer, which caused the big east coast blackout to happen at exactly the right time to save his life.

The final episode was good too. So much like Spider Robinson's Callahan's that it had to be influenced by it. The bartender played Callahan exactly as I always pictured him in my mind.

Vote Libertarian

I cant remeber what it is called but it is onewhere sam and Al switch places and sam gets to go back to the future and we meet everyone. That is cool. Second favourite one where sam leaps into al when he was a test pilot.

The one where he leaps back at some pivotal moment in the storyline, says "oh boy", then goes on to save the day in 44 minutes plus ads.

... never really liked Quantum Leap ...

Who is this superhero? Henry, the mild-mannered janitor ... could be!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bring Back The Black!

I enjoyed "Quantum Leap", but that observation is totally correct.

Sliders looked promising, but turned into pap as well. Sad, really...

Differential Diagnosis: "I am both amused and annoyed that you think I should be less stubborn than you are."

I thought the one where he stopped his brother from being killed in Vietnam but Al ended up being a guest of the North Vietnamese was a good one.

I rather liked the one where he leaped back and saved Stephen King.

The final episode's point was this: Sam could have gone home at any time had he wanted to. Since the text at the end of the episode said that Sam never made it home, we can ergo conclude that Sam never wanted to go home because he was following a higher purpose and a greater calling.

I always had the feeling that the bartender in that episode was God...

The bartender was most definitely Mike Callahan.

Vote Libertarian

Being totally ignorant of this Callahan, I think I'll stick to my gut.

It was called the "Crosstime Saloon," wasn't it?

Loved the talking Dog. Spider Robinson is the Balls...

Differential Diagnosis: "I am both amused and annoyed that you think I should be less stubborn than you are."
