Big bang. could it happen again somwhere else

<p>&nbsp;idk if anyone else has asked this same quistion before but this has been raging in the back of my mind. think of this as a scale and plz tell me if this is possible and/or why it isnt possible.</p><p>&nbsp;couldnt our theory on big bang if it is true happen somwhere else. somthing bigger than galaxies (<strong>diffrent universe's</strong>) is this proved.&nbsp;i just recently discovered this website and u will see many more posts from me i have many quistions. haha </p> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

<p>Depends.&nbsp; There are a couple theories that allow this.</p><p>For instance, the M-theory predicts that universes rest on "membranes" and if two collide, you get a big bang.&nbsp; So it could happen that way.</p><p>There's a chance that it could occur from something we don't even know is possible.&nbsp; Perhaps vacuum collapse is the cause of big bangs.</p><p>So, in short, we don't know.&nbsp;</p>

We're currently somewhere mid explosion, if you like. and our "observable" universe is somewhere in the wave front before all the violence of the actual explosion. Hence the "expanding universe" that we see. And sometime in the very distant future, after the universe reaches its maximum velocity of expansion and then begins to slow down again, our desendants will notice a particular star will start to notably brighten and seem as though it is getting closer. The 3-minute-old universe would seem just as inifinitely big as&nbsp;it is&nbsp;today, because the universe, to the best of our knowledge, represents all of existence. So, even if the universe (just a few minutes after inflation began) was smaller than it is today, as an observer in the&nbsp;3-minute-old universe,&nbsp;you would have no way of refrencing it's exact size, it would still&nbsp;appear to be boundless, just as it is&nbsp;today (as Einstein described it). </p><p>With that being said, if you could hypothetically pause the expansion of our universe right now,&nbsp;zoom out so that our entire universe can be seen in a single point, then unpaused the expansion,&nbsp;you would watch a universe expand into something larger&nbsp;from what seemed like a single point. However, since we zoomed out, we know that the universe was much larger than a single point, yet from a distant viepoint, it made it appear&nbsp;as though&nbsp;it was a new big bang happening all over again.</p><p>This is my take on how the big bang is still happening. Did I lose anyone in that explanation? Is it proven that there are other Universes, no.</p><p>First things first, the semantics. What is a Universe? Is it all encompassing as the title once implied? Or is it one of many structures referred to as Omniverses or multiverses when talked about as a whole. I tend to view it this way. The endless black void we call space is filled with galactic cluster collections.</p><p>These cluster collections bang in and out of existence over the eons.</p><p>If we were not limited by optical physics, we might be able to see another big bang of GCCs occuring 343 trillion light years away. And perhaps in another GCC 649 Ly distant, some earthlike race of beings is asking if there are other Universes?
