'Bouncing' universe theory still can't explain what came first

I think that there is a conceptual problem with the idea that entropy must always increase, even in a "Big Crunch".

It seems pretty clear to me that information can be lost and inhomogeneities can be erased in a "crunch" that gets as small as the early BBT times conceptualize. And, then, "quantum fluctuations" can make entirely new in inhomogeneities, just like the BBT already postulates happened to create the differences in things that allow us to get "work" done.
