Comet on 7 Jul

I was just wondering if anyone else saw the meteor/comet tonight around 9pm CDT? It was the biggest meteor I've seen in years.

It certainly was not a comet.

It would help if you gave your location, the exact time, the direction and elevation that the meteor was seen, how bright it was, etc.
