Dark energy may end up being no energy at all. It may be the nothingness that surrounds the BB internally (at the Quantum level, beneath the Planck Length, which for all practical purposes is another dimension) and externally (on the astronomical level, outside the visible universe).<br /><br />Newton's 1st Law: An object will stay at rest, or continue at a constant velocity, unless acted upon by an external force.<br /><br />This law works in our BB universe, for objects we can measure (small and medium sized). But what if other DIMENSIONS (internal and external of the BB) act on large objects differently, when the gravity between them are weak? In other words, can nothing be an external force on large objects, at the astronomical level? This acceleration can be due to the geometry of the BB, surrounded internally and externally, by nothing. That's my hypothesis.
