What is the ambient lighting like at noon on Titan surface? This ESA page says 1000x less than Earth daylight and 1000x more than average Moonlight on Earth's surface. How thick is the fog on Titan's surface, and how much of a difference would it make from a human naked eye perspective, compared to those +-1000x relative levels of ambient light on earth? That same ESA page mentions that the Huygens lander had a lamp aboard, used shortly before touchdown. Does anyone know what its power and spectrum were?

Thanks.

Nimbus - check out a book by Ralph Lorenz and Jacqueline Mitton called "Titan Unveiled" part 2 of the "Lifting Titan's Veil". You don't need to read part 1 which was before Cassini arrived to Saturn and launched the Huygens probe that landed on Titan. It may not answer your questions, but it's a great read - and it's information doesn't exactly match the website you referred to - showing a lot of it is just "interpretations" evolving as the data continues to be analyzed.
