Your kids would be wicked strong if they grew up on that planet, with twice Earth-normal gravity. Just like Kevin Sorbo's character on <i>Andromeda</i>...a "Heavy Worlder", with enormous physical strength.<br /><br />The downside, I imagine, is that your kids would be very short and have legs built like tree trunks.<br /><br />This is all predicated, of course, on the assumption that the environment of Gliese 581c isn't like Venus.
