I wonder if spacecraft of the future will make more use of it. Balloons come to mind. Perhaps messing with buoyancy could be an answer to a cheap soft landing for manned capsules. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <p> </p><p><font color="#0000ff"><em>"SCE to AUX" - John Aaron, curiosity pays off</em></font></p> </div>
