It turned out that the cause of Hindenberg burning was not because of the hydrogen gas they used in the balloon, but the paint material used to paint the ballloon was very flammable <img src="/images/icons/laugh.gif" /><br /><br />Helium would be a better choice...<br /><br />Heated helium would be an even better choice ! <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" /><br /><br />... I also saw on the Discovery Channel on High Altitude Balloons. Apparently there were lots of research done before Von Braun's rocket.... <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
