www.spaceweather.com

I enjoy this site. It gives daily updates on things to spot in the sky (with the naked eye and telescope). Meteor showers, comets, solar activity such as prominences and sunspots, naked eye sitings of the ISS, etc.

They even list the times and regions that you can view each re-entry of the Shuttle I have yet to witness that one, I hope to see it some day!

Techies: We do it in the dark.

"Put your hand on a stove for a minute and it seems like an hour. Links, alokmohan. Links.

Skeptical Inquirer is a magazine published by the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry. The CSI website has an online archive of some articles from the magazine, but the magazine itself is not an online publication.

skepticalinquirer.com will get you redirected to magazines.com where you can order a subscription to Skeptical Inquirer.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. Unsuccessful rebellions, indeed, generally establish the encroachments on the rights of the people which have produced them. An observation of this truth should render honest republican governors so mild in their punishment of rebellions as not to discourage them too much. It is a medicine necessary for the sound health of government."

Thomas Jefferson
