No, Halo is not based on Ringworld. Someone must have told someone who must have told someone at the game company about such a book by Larry Niven, but that is about it.<br /><br />Halo sucks. If they made the storyline off of the fall of Reach books and showed the first part of the war with the Covenant then it would make a pretty good movie since then not everyone would know the storyline from the games. You would get to see the Master Chief at the battle of Reach.
