On NASATV before the shuttle launch there was a video that aired. I don't know the original title but it was an older movie documenting the Apollo missions. I thought it was the movie "Apollo 11 - The Eagle Has Landed" but what I saw was far longer. It was about two hours at least. I can't seem to find it anywhere. It was not at all modern.. It was very similar to the following video, except it was about the Apollo missions. If anyone knows the title please let me know thanks.

Can't say I've seen the exact film, but I'm pretty sure it's one of the NASA documentaries produced in the 70's. They are in the public domain and widely available at specialty DVD suppliers- released by companies like Madacy and Good Times Video. There was an entire series, maybe 8 of them, Mercury, Gemini and Apollo, Skylab, ASTP.

I am basing this principally on recognizing the voice of the narrator- I think.

Good luck!
