I have stated before that the Boomerang Nebula is more than twice as cold (wink) than the 2.73K space temp. Every time I throw this out, it comes back to me.

It’s still an enigma to me. Expanding gas cools but for a reason, like having been heated.

Just a quibble about the added "feature" "WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF YOU WERE EXPOSED TO SPACE?":

It does correctly state that you would die quickly because of the physical disruptions of decompression.

However, it only says that after getting pedantic about heat transfer mechanisms - and it missed one - the biggest one - evaporative cooling. The phase transitions of water (and other materials) from liquid to gas cools the liquid left behind as the gas escapes. This would obviously also be happening to somebody unlucky enough to be "decompressed" in space.
