To answer the question, it would end IF/WHEN the Universe ended (and possibly before) but, according to my model

{\displaystyle \infty } (sometimes called the lemniscate)

there would be a terminal nexus, opening to a BB in the next phase. Unlikely that any dark matter structure would survive that, but this is purely speculative.

That sounds like great speculation!

According to Stephen Hawking's "Big Bounce" theory, the Universe never actually ends, so if there is an afterlife, the spirit would have to wait about 1 million years until life forms for the first time, then inhabit that living organism.

Afterlife, there is death after life. What is death? The degradation of an animate object to an inanimate object. What is an inanimate object? Something that has no life is an inanimate object.

So, basically, when we die, the constant change of energy in our brains ceases. It is impossible to imagine how that would feel like or if we will even be able to feel that. Afterlife is merely a speculation of us, humans, nothing else.

You have a point there. If there is some surviving "dark energy" one would assume that there had to be some separation mechanism? Perhaps my anthropocentricism showing?
Otherwise you are correct: a mere anthropocentric speculation.

In an infinity of universes there would never be any need of anything like an afterlife. It would be superfluous. There would be duplication, parallelism, fractal self-similarity, and even simply prototypical or archetypical continuance (a constant sense and realization of consciousness and de ja vu) all through infinity. In other words, you may die an infinite number of deaths in infinitely many worlds and universes and times, but the infinite will never gain nor lose you, no matter how many crossroads of decision existing, no matter how many and varying the paths taken, no matter how good or bad the "information." You live in the earliest times of universes' "life zone" and you live in the latest times of that "life zone" and, regarding the "infinity", you live -- and die -- at all times there.

Think about how many decision points have existed in your life, and how many different paths you might have taken (equating to how many different spaces (places), how many different times, you might have been in, if you had made different decisions along many, many, different lines). In an infinity of universes, you, like a proverbial particle of QM, spread yourself all over your own [possible] territories (possible universes) as well, according to infinitely varying decisions made: In the infinity of universes, that is, but never in any individual finite universe (each being strickly a one track affair).

I am able to imagine death better with matter and energy decaying than a soul which is going away, because that would need a bending of the laws of the Physics. And you see, Nature abhors complexion.

Here is the thread title.

The Universe, as all that is, ends and, by definition, everything else ends. You cannot have a myth surviving entities believing in, or records of, the myth. Hence 'after life' ends with it. If you think 'after life' is real (as you have every right to do) then that 'reality' will be part of the Universe and thus ends.
