Is our sun going into hibernation?

Our solar systems goes with the galactic disk. It moves both with the disk and back and forth from its position in the disk.

Also, it drifts north / south (so to speak) perpendicularly through the equatorial region of the disk where there is a lot of stuff -- a lot of effects -- the solar system, most particularly the sun, has to deal with and be effected by. If and when the sun gets a little 'cold', or gets just a little 'feverish', from all this galactic environmental condition and action the Earth gets 'influenza' and/or 'pneumonia' (relatively speaking).

There has been concern that the Sun’s decline in magnetic field strength over the last few cycles suggests we may not get stronger but possibly be headed to another lull period. But the article above correctly stated an increase over the last cycle, though it’s only just beginning.
