rvastro,<br /><br />Hopefully, spacewalks will become so common and routine that they are no longer newsworthy. This is what living and working in space is all about, performing tasks in an environment which is alien to our nature. But so is working underwater, or in the Arctic. Humans have an amazing ability to learn and adapt, and the process of doing so teaches us more about ourselves and the cosmos.<br /><br />That said, I commend Padalka and Fincke for all the effort that they have put into keeping the International Space Station a going concern.<br /><br />Onward, to the stars! <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> The secret to peace of mind is a short attention span. </div>
