As long-time followers know Flash #1 was Jay Garrick. <br /><br />Talia Al Ghul, daughter of Ra's Al Ghul, is a canon character perhaps unknown to those who don't follow the comics. Playing both sides of the fence she has been a love interest of Batmans as well as an ally and at times an adversary. Hi, DocM,<br /><br />I was just perusing thru these posts when I had a "flash"-back on the flash character listed. By the way thanks for the character id you gave there. <br /><br />But wasn't Wally West also known as "Kid Flash" of Central City? Barry was the police specialist, and Wally was the student that somehow got his powers and helped Barry out. I also rermember that Barry was always late to everything, and was even late to his own wedding to Iris one time, which was the subject matter of an issue. But these are the long term memories your post dredged in my mind. Where am I wrong here? I have seen evidence of your all "knowingness", and do bow before your greatness!!!! (HA,HA, HA!!)<br /><br />The Flash and Teen Titans were some of my favorites back then. I am also looking forward to the JLA movie, especially with the Martian Manhunter, if they have him. But I also cannot get away from the mental picture of the Super Friends that always superimposes itself on anything like that. And I certainly hope the two are NOT going to mutually exclusive.<br /><br />I also had a good sized collection of comics until I "grew up" and either gave them to my brother or threw them out, (I was headed for "college," and didn't need such stuff!!) Wally West started as Kid Flash then became the third Flash after Barry Allen was killed during the Crisis on Infinite Earths storyline. At first he was limited to the speed of sound because he didn't fully embrace the Speed Force and Hypertime, but later his powers increased as he became comfortable with them. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
