Jupiter's volcanic moon Io is emitting strange radio waves and NASA's Juno probe is listening

So those massive gas giant planets in our solar system could be acting as radio beacons inadvertently radio flashing like the lights on a used car dealership promoting a sale. If so, perhaps any LGM's and/or LGW's might take notice and resolve Fermi's paradox?

Io: Facts about Jupiter’s Volcanic Moon | Space, this report by space.com indicates Io has been under investigation for quite sometime due to its large volume volcanic activity. The current space.com report says about the volcanic activity at Io, "The volcanos release 1 ton of gasses and particles per second into space, NASA said in a statement."

Consider the number of seconds in 4.5 billion years. Io could spew some 1.42 x 10^17 tons of mass out or more if in the past, even higher rates of volcanic activity took place on Io :)

"Science begets knowledge, opinion ignorance.
For the benefit of those (like me) who are/were unaware of this until relatively recently, the distance of distant moons (as around Jupiter outward) from the Sun, can be compensated for by heat generated by gravitational effects causing the insides of the moons to 'roll around generating heat'. Io, being closest of the Galilean moons to Jupiter, is most heated as described in earlier posts.

Cat :)
