Nice article. That eccentricity is low for smaller mass exoplanets is interesting.

Here's my amateur approach to it in hopes to learn more:
[The mass is in log10 mass to squash them into place.]

It looks like there's an interesting gap in masses at about 2x that of Uranus or Neptune.
