Question Lightweight Binoculars for Outdoor Enthusiast?

Hey space experts!

I am avid outdoor enthusiast and now I am looking for my first ever binoculars for stargazing.

As I learned I need less than 5lbs product with at least x7 magnification. My budget is kinda flexible since I have no idea what is the right price for binoculars I described. There are many options from some Chinese 10$ stuff to 2000$ Swarowski

However, most experts, amazon reviews and review websites suggest Celestron Cometron 7x50. Which weighs only 2 pounds and costs 30 $!

But the price seems suspicious to me. Is that a price for an astronomy device of such quality?

I would be glad if you just say whether Celestron 7x50 is okay or just suggest another brand of binoculars in 200-300 price range.

FYI, Rod uses Bushnell 10x50 binoculars that I purchased at Cabela's, many moons ago and find they work well, they hang around my neck and I walk around with them while stargazing. The heavier the binoculars the more likely you will need a tripod mount to stabilize them. A friend of mine uses Celestron that range from 20x to 100x views for stargazing and has a tripod mount for them. I joke with him about finding the Full Moon on a clear night Other binoculars are Orion. https://www.telescope.com/Orion/2160.home

I mean Celestron is supe cheap, but very lightweight. Other binos are expensive and heavy. Why?

When you choose a sleeping bag its meands smth like temp rating + weight = price. The lesser it weights the pricier it is

Celestron binoculars are fine. The more expensive ones in the product line have better optics, like porro prisoms.
