While it can take months for traditional on-orbit sensors to be powered on, fully calibrated and readied to perform their mission
And the problems for that take so long is...?
Yes I know for calibration time for JWST. But it is unique at size, thermal needs, place where it is situated, main mirror technology that is segmented, foldable and adjustable. What is problems with traditional satellites which works routine?
