Hi, folks! I don't know about you, but I've still very much got Mars on the brain. Part of the reason behind that is my obsession with the audio from Mars, the first ever recorded on the surface of the red planet! The rumbling, the motion, the sheer force of this gigantic landscape is absolutely hypnotising.

For others, though, it's an opportunity to doing something a bit more inspired. Recently, Space.com Senior Writer Chelsea Gohd heard a question that excited her.

Sorry. You know my age. Who is Casem Kasem?

Better get Dusty Springfield or The Beatles?

Cat :)
Casey Kasem - American Top 40 (sorry - forgot)
American radio DJ. Most known for the weekly, nation-wide broadcast countdown of the Top 40 music hits. Originating in 1970, I grew up listening to this every weekend.

I grew up listening to Casey while I was living in the Middle East(between the 80's and late 90's). Good radio. Ofc, this track would also go to the top 10's on Rick Dees :D

LOL, the stuff he'd say on his show...made everyone in our car laugh like mad. The radio is also the other contraption in your car, Cat :) other cars call them infotainment centers/system's.
