Maksutov-Cassegrain?

Hi all, I'm curious about the compact Maks. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" /> Does anyone here own a small aperture Maksutov-Cassegrain, 150mm or less, and how does it compare to other telescopes of the same aperture, especially refractors, for astronomy and terrestrial viewing? They look so cool and easy to carry around on vacations.<br /><br />I was looking at the Orion 120mm f/8.3 and wondering how it would compare to the 127mm f/12.7 Mak. Is 8.3 too short for a achromatic refractor if you want to tone down the chromatic aberration as much as reasonable? If heard that's still too short for an achromat.
