BTW, your red script is ugly to read on my monitor/system.

My point is there's no need to spend millions of dollars on a lunar wide GPS system 50 years before it will be needed. OK, let's say we have a few guys and gals up there 20 years from now. But I really feel it will be at least 50 (well after I'm worm food) before you need a global system. Better to spend the money where it will do the most good; getting there and providing liveable habitat.

Just my opinion

But the Krell forgot one thing John. Fully understandable.
Like I said this is a mind game project for the time being unless someone decided to do something with it.

My reasoning is that we need to set up the right conditions to lure the commercial industry. That include much more than the tourists. Within the present century we will begin running out of ready sources of metallic resources. Copper being the major one, as well as titanium and aluminum. Check mining resource estimates. As the newly developing countries increase their use, the availability decreases ever faster. Many major wars have occurred over resources or the control of them.

There is no reason for not pursuing both methods. But potential flaws need to be pointed out and overcome on either method .

PS Red's lousy on my system also.
