Why move them? They were about as relevant and certainly more well thought out than the posts about the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd issues. <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" />

I VERY strongly disagree with this decision.<br /><br />The ONLY way this board can maintain a high quality of content is for the users to BE THEIR OWN MODERATORS. It has become clear that the kind of strong moderation that happens on other boards is not, can not and will not happen here. Even mild involvement as to quality of content seems to be out of the question.<br /><br />I thought the moved threads very effectively accomplished the mission of self-moderation by the people who care about the quality of the content here. The mods here have their hands tied and are forced to care more about arbitrary and idealistic rules of policy and procedure.<br /><br />GIVE US THE FREEDOM TO MAKE THIS BOARD BETTER!<br /><br />You are my favorite mod, “dockeen” – but IMNSHO you’ve just made a very poor decision. Why do you mods always make these decisions without input from users?<br /> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

I moved them back - they don't have any 'history' in Free Space. They are as (ir)relevant in M&L as the first three.

Thanks! I am not sorry that I am as guilty of this as anybody! I did NOT reply to GT's inaccuracies because of him! I replied because there are those here that need to realize just how incorrect he was! He does have just enough knowledge and points to fool some who are relatively new to these boards and need accurate information!<br /><br />However, that being said, I really have to agree with those the would keep these other fun threads here. This IS exactly the kind of thing that M&L needs every once in awhile! They are easily far enough off the beaten stream of reality to not only be a great deal of fun, but not to fool any newbies that might look in here!<br /><br />Who knows, even GT might just learn something from these threads!!
