MRO's Atlas V launch - August 10th

It is 24hrs pending resolution of the problem.<br /><br />GOES-N is currently Saturday evening and, according to NASA, has to go by Sunday or face a delay to October because of lighting conditions. One of the NASA spokesmen here thinks they could give it an extra few days, but I don't know yet.<br /><br />I am surprised, that if it had to go Sunday, they would not let MRO stand down till next week. They have until Sept 5 to launch. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <p>-Ben</p> </div>

Hey, that's sad, I'm sorry to hear. <img src="/images/icons/frown.gif" /> <br /><br />But its also really cool to have a memorial decal placed atop the launching Atlas V!

Thank you for pointing that out. I didn't know about the sticker, though I did know about her passing. I'm the space editor for the Avion. Unfortunately there are no papers until mid-Sept, otherwise I wish I could write something on it. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <p>-Ben</p> </div>
