That was some accelleration wasn't it?<br />They are in orbit. Centaur MECO1 normal. Now coasting...<br />Absolutely amazing. Glad I didn't go to the appointment I more or less had half an hour ago. <img src="/images/icons/laugh.gif" />

Naturally, it got delayed from my short window in front of a TV set with NASA TV access to the ten minutes it took me to drive back in to work. <img src="/images/icons/tongue.gif" /> So I missed it. How real are those simulated mountains, rivers, etc that we keep seeing. Is that really the African east coast or are they just displaying something to make it more interesting?<br />
