<p>This may be one of those, "we already looked at that and it's nothing" issues but I was just using Microsoft's WorldWide Telescope program and looking at pictures taken by the Spirit rover on Mars. The one I was looking at is of Spirit in Bonneville crater. And there is somethingthat looks odd to me on the far rim of the crater.<br /><br />Heres a long view...<br /><br /><br /><img style="width:509px;height:361px" src="http://sitelife.space.com/ver1.0/Content/images/store/3/11/63486233-d9f7-4a2f-9b9a-36515bc8b848.Medium.jpg" alt="" width="239" height="164" /><br /><br /><br />And here's a close-up view...<br /><br /><br /><img style="width:405px;height:392px" src="http://sitelife.space.com/ver1.0/Content/images/store/8/8/98ca5d47-67a7-459e-a8b8-d1ad1b779fa6.Medium.jpg" alt="" width="262" height="227" /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />It sures looks like it's not quite a natural object. It doesn't seem to fit in with the coloring and shape of the general background. Something from the rover?<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /></p><p> </p> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>
