Looks to answer the argument of infinity in that the flat Universe (nearly flat as its curvature is in the 4th dimension - the image is from Catastrophe's D+) can expand 'forever', er, not quite as it will start to contract after it reaches max diameter. Then what?
String theory talks about flat branes banging together; this talks about hyperspheres banging together
Let's face it, just about everything is a circle. Why should the ladder stop at our universe - it's all about circles!!
