One of the most geometrically perfect': What is this mysterious sphere deep in the Milky Way galaxy?

The object is likely an expanding cloud of ionized gas. Charged particles move preferentially along magnetic field lines. The fact that it is not oblate may indicate a very low local magnetic field strength. Or, it could be oblate but with the axis pointed at us.

If it’s an expansion coming from a source, the expansion must have had a much higher velocity then the source velocity. To remain spherical.

A paradox for all matter moving. Like long straight lines.

The second is the density. Doesn’t appear to be much of a gradient. And does appear to be thin thru-out.

A sphere of gas would be denser in the center.

There seems to be many filaments in the area, perhaps it’s a closed filament.
