Perseid's from an Airplane?

I have been thinking about this, and am pretty sure the answer is no, but I figured I would put the question out there. <br />I am taking a red eye to Boston tonight, any chance I will be able to see the show?<br /><br />http://www.space.com/searchforlife/050811_seti_perseids.html<br /><br />I figure the internal lighting will kill my night vision too much and the windows will have too much glare.<br /><br />I can imagine the show the captain and flight crew will have though.

you might catch some bright ones <img src="/images/icons/smile.gif" /> unlike me...raining here now *typical* what i would do is cover my head and the window with a jacket or something to block out the cabin light...but people will think you're weird
