http://planetary.org/news/2005/shuttle_1011.html

Contains some rational discussion about whether to keep Shuttle or stand-down. More informative than decisive.

Josh

We need a first generation of pioneers.

Real good alternatives. Acctually, its kind of nice having alternatives in the mist of uncertainty.

"SCE to AUX" - John Aaron, curiosity pays off

No amount of media bandwagoning will change that.

ATV is getting delayed all the time (now well into 2007).

Any money that would be 'saved' via the scrapping of the STS program now would more than likely go back to Washington. Griffin has already said how detrimental it would be for a long-term dowtime in ability of manned space flight for the US.

This 'statement' is one-sided and is thus none objective. Add it to the list.

No amount of media bandwagoning will change that. <

Well, I guess its cementing then.

I guess times like these there needs to have a plan (which they do) and commit to stick with it.

"SCE to AUX" - John Aaron, curiosity pays off
