Really Novel Way to Look at Weightlessness

Thought I'd write up a different approach to the concept of weightlessness, and in a fun way. It's about a bathroom scale, a 210 mile high mountain and a space shuttle. Take a look at the post below at Blog on the Universe and let me know what you think!

Hi doctor jeff,
dont know if it is out of coincidence but i started a thread on this subject 'micro gravity in earth orbit'
I think someone worked out that you would weigh approx 11% less in earth orbit, so you would weigh 68kg on surface and 60.52kg in orbit approx with shuttle flying pass you!!!

Or should we say you weigh around 10% less at the top of the mountain, but you see the occupants of the space-shuttle are weightless, as the shuttle falls past you.
