That is exactly my point, Tigerbiten. You are assuming that an absolute frame of reference does exist. If there is no absolute frame of reference, then there is no such thing as a starting velocity. For all you know, you start out stationary.<br /><br />And yes, if an absolute frame of reference DOES exist, you are correct.
