If it's him, I'll recind my "idiot" comment as that would be inappropriate. But selling one's ideas and all of one's rights to those ideas on eBay? That's a great way of convincing investors that you are too clueless to come up with a really useful idea, too lazy to invest even a tiny amount of effort in it, or have no real confidence in the idea.
