But are starless "haloes" of DM hollow in their clumpy structure? I read that although DM extends beyond the dimensions of their respective galaxy, which explains the non-Keplerian orbits of stars, it doesn't mean there is no DM in the central bulge. Thus even the DM mass has a central bulge, and one larger in size than the stellar bulge, right?
This reminds me of the time I ordered French Toast at Max and Louie's restaurant, a NY diner in San Antonio. It was made of challah bread (pronounced "hallah", at least in our area). I told the owner, whom I know, that his bread "ain't hallah", but solid. A sopapilla is hallah. I see DM the same way as his great French toast, but without any syrup.
