I have found that earth was hit by some type of wave, ray, or solar wind at some point in time. The only thing that I have identified that could cause the damage that I am finding is a supernova. Which had to be very close or very big to hit earth. Is there any other type of wave that can burn or melt rocks on earth surface?

None of the things you mention would melt rocks on the earth's surface. The only things that would do so are lava from below, or an asteroid or comet impact.
