Space 1999 Episode Ending

I watched part of an episode once where Earth's astronauts make it to the Moonbase, only they are fugly aliens that have hypnotized the crew and only the Captain can see their real faces. There's a huge Space 1999 fan base still alive on the internet. Maybe one of their sites can give you something definite.
