SSP looks very promising. We desperately need it.

Astroelectricity, supernetwork international interconnected power grids, and near-universal renewable energy sources at the personal level - that's what I think will keep the current system setup humming.

On the other hand, doofuses/doofi in certain positions of power might decide to muck it up for everyone, throwing their toys out of the pram because they can't be perpetual winners ... we need to tread very carefully over the next few decades.
