Was it really a minute? Didn't seem like that before the video went out.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. Unsuccessful rebellions, indeed, generally establish the encroachments on the rights of the people which have produced them. Shame that the FalconSat-2 didn't get its ride aboard Discovery .

Well if it was about a minute as SpaceX are stating, and telemetry is good, hopefully that should make the failure more easily identifiable.

Who is this superhero? Henry, the mild-mannered janitor ... could be!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bring Back The Black!

Geez, it seems to me that Elon is missing a big revenue opportunity here: pay-per-view live video on TV. Heck, I've paid to see Mike Tyson boxing matches that lasted less time.

I have a feeling it might have had to do with the roll-control exaust of the turbo-pump. that would of explained the spinning and the flame.

Can someone flip on the TV and see if any of the news stations have a ticker telling what happened? I'm getting nothing off of the internet.

Or something in the avionics, they haven't flown a real rocket before...

I should video screen capture the launches from now on for replay.

Yeah, I'm not sure they would intentionally cut the video. They've been pretty up-front about things, including the stuff-ups.

You wanna make an omlette, you've gotta break some eggs. They're out there doing it, more power to 'em.

Who is this superhero? Henry, the mild-mannered janitor ... could be!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Bring Back The Black!

I agree. Time to figure out what went wrong, fix it and try again.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. Hard to tell from that image, but didn't Mr. Musk say this vehicle was supposed to go pretty much straight up for a long time? That doesn't look straight up to me, but then I don't know where the camera is located.

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"I hold it that a little rebellion now and then is a good thing, and as necessary in the political world as storms in the physical. lol!

"Why don't you put HER in charge!"

BUmmer about the launch... I hope to see a video of the failure as I could not get the video at work. Damn, I can imagine getting a big rocket like that work must be DAMN hard... so many details. You have to have such a good understanding and predictive ability of how things will behave in the real world.

Who here has a ground view of the launch before we all lost the connection?
