Say just for the moment, that Paramount decided to milk the "Chocklate Cow", one more time, and decided to redo the original series again...(Hold one, whilst I don my flak vest and steel pot...) <br /><br />Who would be the best choice to reportray the original characters Kirk, Spock, Bones etc ?

Tell you the truth, my own opinion is that if they do a new ST series, it should follow the Big "E" from Captain April through Captain Pike. You get some familiarity with TOS, plus old characters who's names we know - and it's between "Enterprise" and TOS. Well, as for Spock... I just googled "cool calm collected smart" -- and got an ad for a Republican candidate for governor in Colorado.<br /><br />Add the phrase "grace under pressure" to the search terms, and something pops up about Ari Fleischer.<br /><br />As a center-left kinda guy I hate to raise the question, but there doesn't seem any way to avoid it.<br /><br />Is Spock a Republican?<br /> <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> <font color="#0000ff"><strong>Just tell the truth and let the chips fall...</strong></font> </div>

i was actually a fan of buck rodgers, catching the tale end as the series departed but don't remember much character wise. (oops just looked buck rogers up and realized i was seeing re-runs in the late eighties. she is pretty sexy though.)<br /><br />but zooey deschanel...so sexy. such a sexy voice. such a hottie. <div class="Discussion_UserSignature"> </div>

Yes,<br /><br />Mr.T as a Worf like character. His tag line can be, "I'm going to get you sucka!!" I can see it now.<br /><br />If fact, the one who mentioned Keffer Sutterland(sp) caused me to think about it for a while. I at first thought he was the one from Kelley's Heroes, the tank captain, or one of the dirty dozen war movie. Now he would NOT be a good choice, but the one from "24" does look like Kirk. Henry
