So, you are suggesting an impact this size to the TPS, even the leading edge RCC, would be survivable. What areas could such an impact cause more critical damage?<br />A window? A hydrazine tank? I know it's a nasty question, and one you guys have already considered.

Does anyone know how long the MLP will stay at pad 39B? Are they waiting for the work on other high bay to finish before moving off to make way for STS-116?

I've seen this pic before, it was taken by a high altitude chase plane IIRC

Which if I recall was the case for the other radiator door hit (the largest to date; this is the second largest).

I'll try and wade through the NASA site, but it doesn't seem like something they would put on a public page.
